Facebook is a great boon but many might want to just delete their account. Many asked me how to do so so i decided to post this. Its very easy if you know a little in using facebook.

First find the setting symbol in the top right of the page. This will lead to a drop down list, Select the account settings option from this.A large window appears. From this select the security option from the top left of the screen. An image showing the location is displayed below.
Now a anathor page is displayed, from this select the deactivate your account shown in the bottom as shown in the below image.
They will ask reasons for deactivating your account so choose an appropriate one and continue.
All done your account is deactivated.
